Some people believe as pottery is man-made, sea pottery doesn't have any spiritual healing properties. However, I like to think about the transformation that sea pottery has gone through as a result of the natural elements. Sea pottery starts off as an shard of man-made pottery or ceramic that enters the sea. After years and years of living in the salty, wavy ocean, the sharp edges are naturally worn away to create something smooth and beautiful. It's incredible to think about the journey this piece of glass has been on. 
 
As this is sea pottery and sterling silver, this necklace should be able to be worn in the sea and shower, however I would recommend rinsing it after being in the sea and drying as soon as you can to minimise tarnishing.
